Program of the day:

Love for the simple things: how to make the most out of the “2 pra lá 2 pra cá”

We will explore the most traditional forró base, that is sometimes forgotten, and learn how can we make it more interesting and how to adapt to the different forró rhythms.

👉 14h30-15h45 : Sarah Collings

From Self-Expression to Shared Expression

We often think of styling and self-expression as something personal — how I move, how I feel, how I shine. But partner dance is a conversation, not a monologue. The way you move doesn’t just express you; it shapes the connection, the emotion, and the experience you create together.

In this workshop, we’ll play with different dance “flavours”, such as playful or strong, and explore how each one changes the connection between partners.

Through structured exercises, partner rotations, and guided reflection, you’ll become more aware of your own self-expression. It’s a practical workshop: you’ll dance a lot and try on new qualities that feel natural - as well as some that don’t!

Together we’ll explore how greater expression can deepen your partner connection, not distract from it.

Better communication for better dances

In this workshop we will explore what we want to communicate on the dance floor and possible ways to do it in the context of forró.
